Religion in South Sudan

In South Sudan, local and traditional religions dominate. Although Christianity was introduced as early as the Middle Ages of Nubia in northern Sudan, it has limited support in southern Sudan, where the population has congregated as a result of missionaryism since the end of the 19th century. About. 10% of the population consider themselves Catholics, while approx. 5% are Protestants. Islam has little spread.
